DAY 1. Departure from Prague via Moscow to Ulaanbaatar.

DAY 2. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing tour including the Museum of Nature with a collection of dinosaur fossils. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3. Departure to Lake Ogii Nuur, on the way visit the sand dunes. Overnight in Mongolian yurts.

DAY 4. In the evening we arrive at Lake Ogii Nuur (a freshwater lake of 25 km2) and start fishing at sunset. Overnight in tents.

DAY 5. Fishing on Lake Ogii Nuur and the Orchon River. Overnight in tents.

DAY 6. Departure to Chorgo. Overnight in tents by the Tamir River.

DAY 7. Arrival in Chorgo. Overnight in yurts in Chorgo.

DAY 8. Chorgo. Fishing on Lake Cagán Núr or the Gichgene River. Overnight in tents by the lake or riverbank.

DAY 9. Chorgo. Fishing on Lake Cagán Núr or the Gichgene River. Overnight in tents by the lake or on the riverbank.

DAY 10. Chorgo. Fishing on Lake Cagán Núr or the Gichgene River. Overnight in tents by the lake or on the riverbank.

DAY 11. Chorgo. Fishing on the river Gichgene. Overnight in tents by the lake or on the riverbank.

DAY 12. Departure to Charchorin. Along the way, sleeping in tents.

DAY 13. In the evening arrival to Charchorin. Visit to Erdene Zuu Monastery. Overnight in Mongolian yurts.

DAY 14. Back to Ulaanbaatar. Overnight at the hotel.

Important information:

The Orchon River is home to pike, mirror carp, Baikal sturgeon, Siberian taimen, roach, minnows, golden carp, small whitefish and more. Lake Bón Cagaan nuur (Cagán nuur) is a waterless freshwater lake, which is fed by streams originating in the Ch angaj mountains. At the eastern end of the lake, at a distance of three kilometres, there is the beautiful volcanic crater Chorgo uul and the surrounding volcanic fields of black lava without greenery. The lava flowed from the crater to the lake, and when it reached the water, it stopped. Fissures and caves appear in the lava flow. The largest reaches 8 metres. The strange accumulation of lava on the shore allows a view from the deposits of porous basalt reaching the height of a grown man. Meanwhile, across the lake, flocks of cormorants and swans float peacefully. The picturesque view of the lake landscape and the opportunity to take a bath bring many visitors to these places. Many species of fish live in the lake.

General conditions: as our camp will be far from any city or town, participants need a strong sense of adventure, excellent fitness, fishing and hiking experience and a feel for other cultures. Previous camping experience is welcome. Vegetarians or people who need special diets or foods should inform us at least four weeks in advance so that we can prepare their food.
